Okay so my internet was out and I was listening to skrillex. Wait...whu? Did you just say skrillex? YES. skrillex inspired this. How I'm not exactly sure but I wish I recorded this which I'm going to do from now on becuz the step by step images man! well you just wouldn't believe how it all came together so magically. Plus I'm thinking of doing tuts but I'm not sure if I'd be good at explaining those. So I'll just make progress vids and post them up on my youtube/tumblr account.

Other inspiration greek and norse mythology. I find it really interesting even if it borderlines on the morbid side of things.
